Hi guys, I am just wondering if anyone has a question on clomid use in women and if they have side effects, and if anyone has experience with this.
I am a 37 yr old female who was diagnosed with PCOS in August 2012 and I am on the same medication for almost a year.
I had to have fertility treatment every month for the last six months because I had a 3 month cycle with a follicle in my ovary which made me sick.
I had a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression and my doctors told me to be careful because I had PCOS and ovaries.
I was prescribed Clomid (Clomifene Citrate) and I was on it for about 2 weeks, and I felt like I was going to get my period and have a baby in just two months.
So, I was prescribed Clomid and it was the best I could have been given.
I was diagnosed and started on it for about 2-3 years, but after that time I was in a bad mood and couldn't fall asleep or wake up. After taking my medicine, I was put on Clomid and started on Clomid for the next year.
I am now 42, and my doctors are telling me not to use Clomid since I can get it through IVF. I am on a total of 6 cycles of Clomid with no adverse side effects.
I am hoping my symptoms improve and I will be able to have a baby in just a few more months.
I am not sure if it is an issue with ovulation, or a combination of the two. My doctor suggested taking it with a glass of milk and not eating it, but I'm wondering if this is an issue with Clomid or it could be a side effect?
Also, if you can't have a baby while you are taking Clomid, what is the best dosage? I don't know how much Clomid I can do, but I feel like I need to use it as often as possible, to keep the ovaries healthy.
Thank you so much for any advice!
Thanks again, guys!GretaPost Views:3,927
